Kaila McCarthy, M.S. LMFT QS is a Qualified Supervisor Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in St. Pete, FL. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Alabama, as well as a Master's degree in Human Sexuality Education with a clinical focus in Sex Therapy from Widener University.  Kaila’s specific areas of passion include: relationships, survivors of sexual trauma, and providing affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals and relationships.

Kaila has five years’ experience of working with a variety of individuals, relationships, families, and children (ages 3 and up) from diverse backgrounds. Kaila has been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and has experience working with children/adolescents who have witnessed or experienced abuse.
